We have 4 nights reserved for Dead Horse Ranch State Park on the outskirts of Cottonwood.  We continued to stock our RV with the essentials with a visit to Walmart.  No designer malls around here.  Camp site and trails were ok.  Nothing spectacular but very relaxing out in the boonies.  It’s been 7 days since I heard a leaf blower, dogs barking for 30 minutes straight or obnoxious sirens shouting out their deafening wails.  Ducks splashing and birds chirping at the lake, a woof now and then as RV’ers are obviously dog lovers, an occasional big rig rolling by, neighboring camper saying howdy as they take their evening stroll.
