A view from the Summit.  We caught the mid morning flight to Kahalui, Maui and quickly headed up the slopes of Haleakala.  Once we got above the cloud bank, the weather for our 4 days was unbelievable.  Not a cloud above us for 4 days.  Take a gander from the Summit and then a visit our camp site at Hosmer’s Grove as we prepped for an early morning departure after sunrise.  We froze at Hosmer as the cool early morning due drenched our tents.  Neither of us slept well.
