Day 6 - Sherbooke Lake and Paget Lookout Hike

Some of us would hike 3.2 miles to the 660 ft elevation gain of the lake, others would hike the 4.5 and the steep 1700 ft ascent above the lake with views that stretched out across mountains and valleys in all directions.  The rapids wore me out, as I knew the week was almost complete.  The islands and our home called me.  What a great 6 days in the Canadian Rockies but I was also exhausted by the other 5 weeks we had been traveling across the US, bike riding, hikes, spending time with our daughter and grandson.  I was done.  Time for coconut  trees and the warm Pacific Ocean.
