Hoover Dam, Arizona/Nevada:  The star of the show.  While the biking in the area was a primary draw to the area, the featured act was the Dam.   Yes, a rare wonder of the world, built in only 5 years. That and the bridge above it where superior techlogical achievmens for that time.
