Half Moon Beach State Park, Half Moon Bay, California:  Half Moon Bay area was covered wth fog which is common for this time of year.  We camped here six years ago during the fall and we know what it's like on a clear day.  Gorgeous.  The cute little town was well photographed in our previous visit so we didn't have a photo session as we've done others.  Besides, It was time to work on the RV and get it cleaned up for the summer seista. The islands are calling!

It was rather chilly so it made for a perfect time to work inside the RV and organize and pack up our belongings, start the cleaning process.  Day two was warmer so we hit the town for our last laundry and finally found a self cleaning car wash and gave the poor motorhome a good cleaning which still had Nashville bird poop on it and layers of Route 66 grime.   Good news, I got the not-so-electric sofa bed to be a permanent non-electric sofa bed.  At least it can be manually moved up and down which is just fine for us, for now.  My back needed the break after two uncomfortable nights.

On Friday night we had dinner with SF sister-in-law Elaine (Angel B) and talk was long about SF, surfing and Hawaii.   She's my sister's husband's sister.  Got it?   On Saturday cousins Richard and Vera Skinner opened their home in Half Moon for breakfast with his brother Eric and wife Julie before we headed to our RV storage location for final prep.  It was great to spend time with family.  We then rolled to Redwood City and got the Coconut all wrapped up for the summer.  Sweet dreams sweet ride.  

We're now at a hotel near the SF airport for our Sunday departure.   Hmmm, I just noticed, I'm starting to hula as I walk.  Funny kine, yeah?
