RogersSpring 2015

Grants, New Mexico:  We rolled in to the RV camp in Grants, NM at 7200 ft elevation.  They told us it was going to be around 27 degrees tonight, should snow, very strange for these parts during this time of the year.  We looked at each other, it was par for the course for us.  Besides, it was time to get some wash done, work on this blog.   We were told that they actually have lava fields close by and at first puzzled, we found it to be true during a very cold evening walk around the campground.  You can see them in the background in the later shots.  Looked more like a bunch of black rocks to me.

Suzanne, our camp host was so nice.  She said the park offered a special "Dinner in the RV" service.  We could choose a home cooked meal and they would serve it in the RV.  It didn't take much to convice us.   What a great dinner.
