Drive through Redwood Forest on to Crescent City, CA:  We had spent 5 days in this area back in 2009, camping in Elks Prairie in the Redwood Forest.  We passed right on through this time with stops along the coast to grab some non moving car stills and then rolled through Crescent City, the last town before we made the crossing into Oregon.

Don't mind Barbara, our on-the-highway photo journalist.  We haven't found any trains along the trail to Oregon so she's taking snaps of every wood carving, barn and tractor for our grandsons
