Coos Bay Railroad, Coos Bay, OR: That's right, I traded in the RV and Barbara for a locomotive. What a deal. Dream on doofus!
BTW, it's settled, we're moving to Coos Bay, Oregon. They got their own Railroad Museum, a mini airport that flies United to Denver, Portland and SF, close proximity to black sand beaches, surf, cliffs, lush forest and 65/45 weather all year long (I checked). Oh wait, no grandchildren. Ok, forget it, maybe a summer cabin on the cliffs over looking the Pacific Ocean. Yeah, that's the ticket, Laie, Oregon style.
Anyway, Barbara over did it at Cape Blanco and was icing her aching back while I grabbed the obligitory snaps at the Coos Bay Railroad Museum. So cool, kid friendly (you can even ring the bell while pretending to drive the train, which this kid did).
