Seattle, WA: It was a 2 hour ride from Sequim to Seattle. We stopped and did some shopping along the way. Rolled into our KOA campsite in the Kent Valley and immediately went looking for our nearby RV storage facility. We were very please with the business we had secured. It's a actually rare to find a RV Service center that has reasonable storage rates and we found one. Actually we found Kent to be a great support town with a nearby self service car wash, Costco (w gas), Home Depot, Walmart and wouldn't you know it, an Apple Store in a huge mall 5-10 minutes away.
After the RV storage visit we hit the car wash and then I polished the Lil Coconut while Barbara started working inside. We'd had all day Friday and half day Saturday to get the rest of it prepped and sit back and relax a bit. We even visited the Apple Store but the crowds and lines for the new phone were too long. Guess I'll wait till we get back.
Saturday: Winterized the RV and drove it to Kent's RV to store it for the next year. We were really happy with this company. We bought a cover for it that they will install, just $200. They also offered to take my van battery and store it inside and put a trickle charger on it. WOW!! This was incredible and I'm really stoked. Also, as you'll see in the photo, Lil Coconut now has two pair of tire booties to keep them nice and warm during the winter and the sun's harmful rays off during the summer.
We Uber'ed again from the RV storage to the Ramada Inn Airport. Strange dude in a Kia. You do have to keep an eye on their route which I did using my own GPS.
We end this trip with a dinner out with nephew Justin and his wife Julia who live in Bellevue. Couldn't have asked for a better ending.
Aloha kakou, a hui hou.
