Towns Along The Oregon Coast, OR: After having breakfast at our new favorite diner across from yet another logging company in Coos Bay (doesn't look like it but the diner was packed with a long waiting line), we then drove through North Bend, Winchester, Reedsport, before we hit the lovely town of Florence, OR. Below are some snaps of the scenery along the way.
Once we got to our destination, we had three hours to kill before they would let us check in to the Honeyman State Park campground so we rode all over Florence. We rolled by the docks, searched for dream houses along the river and ocean front, and made a pivotal stop in a parking lot so I could bask in the 5 bar cell service. Yes, the town was one of our favorites so far, not just because it had decent cell service. Ok, that was the main reason, as I was finally able to upload photos, download bills, book some beach house dates and answer many emails. Sure felt good to catch up.
But the town had much more to offer such as a health food store smack dab on the main drive. Wow, that was rare. Hey, they had bike lanes. We thought the little tourist walk along the waters edge was cool all dressed up in quaint attire. There were actually Corvettes on the streets, not just pickup trucks. All in all, nice.
